Mark Johnson is the Owner and Corporate President of Harry Johnson Plumbing and Excavation Inc. (HJPE), a family-owned company since 1948. Mr. Johnson has worked in the business since childhood. He assumed leadership of the company at the age of seventeen, after his father Harry Johnson passed away in 1976. It is his vision and drive that led to incorporating the business and shifting the focus of work away from residential plumbing and local house calls to multi-state public works contracts encompassing a wide range of project types, with excavation becoming the primary feature of work, leading to the name change from Harry Johnson Plumbing, to Harry Johnson Plumbing and Excavation, Inc., retaining his Father’s name as a reminder of his roots. HJPEs current expertise includes waterline extensions & utility maintenance, structure demolition, bridge building, roadway excavation, site preparation, creek & levee construction and reconstruction, and other large-volume heavy-equipment projects. With 50 years of experience in his field Mr. Johnson is capable of providing a high level of service to any project, public or private. We are proud of the fact that Harry Johnson Plumbing (and Excavation Inc.) has been continually licensed in Washington State since 1948.
